Dattoria skill

This page covers two separate steps: connect the MCP server and install the Dattoria skill. Your key stays with you and is never sent in chat.

1

Connect MCP and grant access

Sign in to Dattoria and create a dedicated MCP key. For ChatGPT and Claude web clients, use the built-in Dattoria sign-in when available. In editors and local agents, add the server using the selected client’s instructions.

Production MCPhttps://mcp.dattoria.com/mcp
BEARER HEADER · LOCAL CLIENT ONLY
Authorization: Bearer YOUR_DATTORIA_MCP_TOKEN

Server endpoint. Enter the key yourself in client settings. Do not send it in an AI chat, include it in the skill, or commit it to a public repository. Never put a live key in documentation or examples.

2

Install the skill

Download the ZIP and import it into a client that supports Skills, or save SKILL.md in the official skills folder. For a compatible local agent, use the prompt below: it will find the official path, save the file, and prepare an MCP config with a placeholder for your key.

Skill packageAgent Skills · ZIP
https://mcp.dattoria.com/skill.zip
If you only use a web chat

Importing a skill is not the same as connecting MCP. In ChatGPT, upload the ZIP in Skills settings if your plan and workspace have the feature; in Claude, add a Skill in settings if available. Then connect Dattoria separately through built-in OAuth. A web chat cannot change files on your computer.

3

Install paths by client and OS

SKILL.md is a plain text file and needs no extra packages or system commands. The folder depends on which location the AI client scans.

CodexProject: .agents/skills/dattoria-analytics/SKILL.md
Claude CodeProject: .claude/skills/dattoria-analytics/SKILL.md; personal: ~/.claude/skills/dattoria-analytics/SKILL.md
VS Code / CopilotProject: .github/skills/dattoria-analytics/SKILL.md
CursorProject: .cursor/skills/dattoria-analytics/SKILL.md or .agents/skills/dattoria-analytics/SKILL.md
OpenCodeProject: .agents/skills/dattoria-analytics/SKILL.md or .opencode/skills/dattoria-analytics/SKILL.md
Find configuration files

Run the matching command to print only likely config paths. You can share those paths with the agent; contents and keys stay hidden, and no files are changed.

macOS / Linux · Terminal
for root in "$HOME/.codex" "$HOME/.claude" "$HOME/.config/opencode" "$HOME/.cursor" "$PWD/.vscode" "$PWD/.cursor" "$PWD/.codex" "$PWD/.claude" "$PWD/.opencode"; do
  [ -d "$root" ] || continue
  find "$root" -type f \( -name 'config.toml' -o -name 'settings.json' -o -name 'mcp.json' -o -name 'opencode.json' -o -name '.mcp.json' -o -name '.claude.json' \) -print
done
Windows · PowerShell
$roots = @("$HOME\.codex", "$HOME\.claude", "$HOME\.config\opencode", "$HOME\.cursor", "$PWD\.vscode", "$PWD\.cursor", "$PWD\.codex", "$PWD\.claude", "$PWD\.opencode")
$names = @('config.toml', 'settings.json', 'mcp.json', 'opencode.json', '.mcp.json', '.claude.json')
foreach ($root in $roots) {
  if (Test-Path -LiteralPath $root) {
    Get-ChildItem -LiteralPath $root -File -Recurse |
      Where-Object { $names -contains $_.Name } |
      Select-Object -ExpandProperty FullName
  }
}

macOS and Linux: home-directory paths start with ~/. Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, RHEL, and other distributions use the same file location; no system packages are needed.

Windows 10/11: use the user profile folder, for example %USERPROFILE%\.agents\skills\dattoria-analytics\SKILL.md. The path depends on the client, not the Windows edition.

Windows 7/8/8.1: current VS Code versions no longer support these systems. Check other AI clients separately; do not install an old build just for a skill. VS Code: Agent Skills

Prompt for a local AI agent

Copy this into Codex, Claude Code, VS Code, or another local agent that can work with files. Do not include your token in the prompt.

Prompt for a local AI agent
Install the official Dattoria skill from https://mcp.dattoria.com/skill.zip. First identify my OS and AI client, then check the client’s official documentation for the current Skills folder and remote MCP format. Do not run scripts from the skill or overwrite existing settings: back up only the file you plan to change and add Dattoria alongside other servers. Download and verify https://mcp.dattoria.com/skill.md, then save SKILL.md in the discovered skills folder. For MCP use https://mcp.dattoria.com/mcp and prepare a config with the placeholder YOUR_DATTORIA_MCP_TOKEN. Do not ask me to send the key in chat, read it aloud, or print secret contents. Stop and show the exact local file or client field where I will enter the key myself. Then explain how to reload the client and confirm Dattoria tools appear, without requesting my data until I explicitly ask.
5

Verify the connection

After saving the MCP config, restart the client or refresh its server list. A successful connection is confirmed when the client lists Dattoria tools. The skill is installed when the client loads SKILL.md. Only then ask the agent for a specific query; choose Kaspi or Teez for analytics.

Official publisher instructions

Availability depends on client version, plan, and organization policy. Check the publisher’s requirements before installing.
